As a Portfolio Manager with EverNest Financial Advisors, Kevin implements client investment programs and directs use of the technology that undergirds the firm’s customized approach.
Prior to joining EverNest in 2022, Kevin was a trading team lead at Orion Advisor Technology, a leader in state-of-the-art investment software for RIAs. Kevin built his expertise with fully integrated trading and tax-intelligent portfolio modeling systems through hands-on work with hundreds of leading RIAs nationwide. He developed a reputation both inside and outside Orion for excellence in fulfilling investment philosophies in the most efficient, client-centric manner possible.
Earlier in his career, Kevin worked in the communications field, both as a reporter and in public relations and marketing with a focus on agricultural issues. A native of Emmetsburg, Iowa, Kevin grew up on a Century Farm. His early experiences on the farm proved foundational to his approach to technology: taking on every task with a sense of ownership and complementing traditional approaches with new ones.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Iowa State University, where he participated in the Scripps Howard Newspaper Internship program.
Kevin and his wife Jennifer live in the Omaha, Nebraska area. They are avid sports fans—supporting Midwest teams with red bird mascots (namely the St. Louis Cardinals and Iowa State Cyclones)—and are strong supporters of classical music. Kevin also holds a private pilot’s license.
